Ph.D Students

Ryan Scamehorn is a PhD researcher from the United States deeply intrigued with the dynamic interactions of language and space. His research interests include network space, graph theory, street view imagery, deep learning for text detection- recognition (OCR), and developing methods of data acquisition for linguistic metadata, and OSINT, focusing on issues related to war, elections, demography, multilingualism, and language policy in Southeast Asia and the Post-Soviet Union.

Worawit Supawimut

Worawit Supawimut is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Geography, Chiang Mai University. He holds a bachelor's degree in Geography from the Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University, and a master's degree in Geography from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University. Currently, he works as a full-time lecturer at the Geography and Geoinformatics program at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. His areas of research interest include using satellite imagery to analyze air  pollution, flood risk assessment, and disaster management using GIS and remote sen
